Mans Demise

As I begin my morning walk
MY mind begins to talk
"It is coming very clear
Mans demise is very near
God and nature are telling us
time for us to make a fuss
Save mankind is all we have
the planet is in our very trust
decease , fires and hurricanes are only symptoms
of all that really counts
the environment is our responsibility
if we don't care or act
Man will no longer be a fact
Melting ice caps ,Raising seas
are natures signs of unease
Weve had a million years or two
to learn our place in earth's care
its greed and selfishness that now rules
they must disappear before we do
those peoples need for more
big businesses, churches , the need for war
must step back and define
the help that nature, needs to stop decline
goodness is in our reach
our minds and children we must teach
to fix pollution, greed, and waste ,as for life they reach
