The poem(s) are below...

wasted space

Once I was someone
A young girl with hopes and aspirations
I became a wife, a mother needed and loved.
My purpose was clear,
Now I have achieved my destination
And there is nothing left
 only darkness remains
The road ahead is filled with empty promises
And long forgotten smiles
Discarded and useless
A wasted space
I am no more

Just when I have felt emptiest, I have had to realize, emptiness is necessary, before I can be filled again. I was someone, once, too, but life goes in cycles. May God Bless You!
