The poem(s) are below...

Demise

They dwell
In regions dark beneath the surface of the Earth.
Where nowt of Adam walk or venture breath for fear
Of Satan and his ghastly peers.
The same who with delight had raised a million cheers
When Eve our source had sorely sought her pleasure
From that fatal tree
And on her ears fell stern cries of God
Be gone with ye.

They watch Earths
Faltering pallbearers of mediocrity and wait to strike.

Gus, A nice warm WELCOME to poetry soup. I hope you enjoy the community, as I did when I first join the soup March 2010. You will find many friendly poets, who ready to take you under the their wings, and support and offer any kind of feedback. I will be around to help you grow with the community, if you like. I look forward to meeting and reading any poems or smiles you offer. :) :) :) We are one big happy family. (Drama & Love) ~ Take Care!! From: your new poet friend @-> LINDA <-@
