Abuse
When it happens once, it'll happen again,
Do you allow it, or do you defend?
When you have one scar, you have many more,
Unless you get out, your life will never be the same as before,
When he's gonna hit again, is your only fear,
But how do you hide all the tears?
When he says 'I'm sorry', he doesn't really mean it,
There's absolutely no excuse to hit,
When you try to deny it to your friends, they all know you're lying,
And you're only lying to yourself, why am I crying?
Whenever you hear his voice, you can feel the pain,
Your life is now only hanging on a thin chain,
There's help, but you don't want it,
You have to do something before he has his next fit,
Tired of making lame excuses for what he's doing to you,
But there's nothing else you can do,
He's so much bigger, powerful, and strong,
You believe that he's right because you're wrong,
But that's not true at all,
How many times are you gonna to fall?
Not everyone believes your excuses and lies,
They can see the hurt in your eyes,
'Did he do that to you?', is what they would say,
'No I fell just yesterday', is your reply,
But why?
Why do you lie and hurt yourself even more?
He deserves what he gets, to be locked behind metal doors,
He's going to hurt someone else if you don't stop him now,
Even if it only happened once, there's got to be a way how!
