Keeping My Strength
It's difficult to say,
what it's like to be me.
I'm not the hyper girl,
but I'm not the shy girl either,
I'm just me.
I have my weaknesses,
a lot of times,
my out of no where moodiness,
but no matter what,
I maintain my strength.
I hide what's going on in my mind,
and what's going on in my heart,
however i'm the most honest person,
anyone will ever meet.
I sometimes keep secrets,
but doesn't everyone,
or is it just me?
I've had to say good-bye,
to family members,
to friends,
because God called them home,
but I still maintained my strength.
I've sat in my room,
crying at night,
because no one understood,
what i was going through.
Though,
even if I'm having a bad day,
I'll still be,
maintaining my strength.
