Without You

Some are full of sorrow.
Some are full of life.
Some are full of laughter.
Some are full of lies.

But me, I am so empty
Without you in my life.
The silence is deafening
And echoing my cries.
The loneliness is harrowing
Without you in my life.

Your lying here beside me,
My heart is in your hands
Thank God I am not empty
I know you understand.

I dreamt of life without you
I longed for life alone.
I reached out to embrace it,
And found it was so cold.

And me, I am so empty
Without you in my life.
The silence is deafening
And echoing my cries.
The loneliness is harrowing
Without you in my life.

Gosh! This made me emotional.. you've so heart-breakingly expressed how it feels when we have to live without their absence.. life without them feels cold and eerie. The way loneliness keeps consuming us and the memories which keep shaking us in waves! Sigh.. made me think that we really do feel their worth after they have left. Such a soul-stirring piece! Made me ponder! Sending you light and best wishes always ~
