Missing Youth

Missing Youth
By Laura D
October 24, 2016

Someday, I'll be alive
I wont have to fake it all the time
Someday, I'll have a smile
I won't have to fake it all the time

Cause I can't seem to find myself
In every single way
And I can't seem to hold my tears
It happens every day

Someday, I'll live out loud
I won't hold back who I really am
Sometimes, I put up my walls
I guess we are really all the same

I need, release from my own life
Cause Sometimes I cannot be strong
We are, two shipwrecked girls at sea
And sometimes my body feels so wrong

Days like today I sing this song
Where did it all go so wrong?
And I can't even feel my bones
I break them for the truth
