Heard

Because I am
Seventeen
Female
Black
Hispanic
Misunderstood
Thump

I hear you
Shoving your fingers down throats,
Bruising unseen crevices,
Destroying livers
Thump

Hearts…
Broken
Veins…
Opened
Innocence…
Taken
World…
Shaken
Thump

You are the cries of the speechless,
The tune of morbidity,
The woes
And the
Foes.
Thump
