Faceless

What is man but a destitute creature full of horror
Condescending ...miserable and vengeful
Always searching for a heartless surrender of the mind
bending
willful and ending the fate of others
condescension of love
struggling for nothing but his own ego
smiling upon nothing
knowing that he is so broken
but unable to hold a spoon to save his life when it comes to mercy
destroyed by grief
if only
deprived and remade into an image
broken
Such a finish
Selfless not
but always forgotten
friendless lot
always begotten
destitute
and such a crime upon Earth
love is lost
even in this warm hearth.
