Nowhere close to my dreams
The greatness that never came
The trips I never took
I lost them all along the road of growing up
Life did not unfold as I dreamt
Lovelorn and forlorn
All locked up in my heart
Suddenly I woke up
And it is all gone
The years, all gone
All I have left is emptiness
All I have left is unrequited love
And a giant stillborn dream
A craving like a lead in my heart
A pain the size of Manhattan
A void like the Boöte void
I dreamt my dreams but forgot to live my dreams
