Larger Than Life

Should the dark clouds of pain
overwhelm your already broken soul
and the sun has been covered
by a night sky of stars to far to shine,

Should the blood of your fragile body
turn frozen into ice
and the air around you too cold
to thaw your bones into warmth,

Should you ever lose direction
because your maps have been torn apart
by the evils of society
that you are unable to find your way,

Always know there is one place
where you can go in need of warmth,
a place where the sun can shine,
and you can be finally be guided
by the strength of our embrace.

Whenever you lose your way
know that I am here,
together, we are unstoppable
and can conquer fears so far away,
fly into the wonders of space.

Although it's been so long,
I have yet to fade away
you may have disappeared
into little specks of air,
but in my eyes you will always
be bigger than the sun.

Spur of the moment. Just wrote it in a second. It sucks, but that's why I'm writing. I want to get better at it.
