Nothing

To-day I met a good friend

Someone from the past

Walking across the lawns of yesterday

To awake me from my sleep

Visions of passing moments

Reflected in her eyes

Bringing thoughts that had been hidden in my head

Lasting dreams of tomorrow

That are burnt upon my mind

Silent her footsteps cross the difference we had

Between times of lust and forgiveness

In sweetness that were mine

Nightmares that were forgotten that are now

Heavy on my heart

The wind gentle and wet

Heavy perfume fills the air

She smiles at me at last as I realize the pain

Within my chest

Hot blood flowing stains red upon the grass

As the rain begins to fall...
