Wisdom

It is conjured up from intelligent words
Shown by heart aching experiences of life
It is only seen by patient souls
Who wait for the instructions of not how to survive
But to live and to conquer every last of their fears
That has haunted them until they took their time
Time to listen and learn
Learn that life is a melodious chime
That plays strongly in the storms
And brings beauty as a rainbow after the rain
Wisdom is a blessing yet also a curse
Just like every other gift that we’ll ever obtain
But wisdom is obtained by the errors of your life
And every breath that you take to comprehend
The ways to grow an improve
Unlike simple knowledge, that will die in the end
Wisdom is not only seen from the old
But also from the young who grew up too fast
For the world has always been cold
And when the weak is never sheltered from the storm
That knowledge drove sanity astray
Imagination dimmed into the shadows
And their innocents slowly faded away
Wisdom; wisdom is a curse and a blessing
For not everyone contains such power
Wisdom will surely make you grow
But knowledge can wither a flower
