Premonition

it makes me feel like dieing again
it pushes my thoughts aside
come on lets go for a ride
drown me in the water so deep
im dreaming please wake me from this sleep
out of time and out on my feet
  i had a premonition today
saw my life flash and fade away
theres not a word i could use to convey
how i feel i think ive lost my way
crashing waves out back of my brain
i think ive lost my mind again
this is becoming a trend
down this road i twist and bend
to try and find you my friend
my broken heart i need you to mend
  i had a premonition today
saw my life flash and fade away
theres not a word i could use to convey
how i feel i think ive lost my way
i bleed out but you see only scars
hear the screams echoing from afar
wide open space and all you see are bars
take my hand please show me the way
off this bed of nails in which i lay
take the edge off the pain of this day
  i had a premonition today
saw my life flash and fade away
theres not a word i could use to convey
how i feel i think ive lost my way
i think i have something to say
im riddled with thoughts of dismay
set me free release me from this cage
  i had a premonition today
saw my life flash then fade away
theres not a word i could use to convey
how i feel i think ive lost my way
