Charity

Say, have you seen Charity
She hideth I know not where?
I search for her sweet song of love,
Have you seen her pretty face?
I have been searching every place.

Look! see that dark corner there,
Yonder stands Intolerance and
His brothers Greed and Envy-
There-is that their sister Malice
peering through that curtained window?

Compassion too has disappeared-
perhaps he dances some far off
forest glen- with Charity?

Well, I suspect she's gone to be with hope and faith somewhere up above. And when she returns to us she'll then be known as Love...... I love your poem.... Jake

I really like this piece great job:) I especially like the lines "Look! see the dark corner there, Yonder stand Intolerane and and his brothers..." I really like how this line speaks to the reader and gives the reader a perspective of looking beyond the box!
