Back in the day
When I was a teenager
I tried so hard
To live for the future

But now that I'm older
I look back and I realize
That the stories of our life
Just pass us by

All the things
That I used to know
Were all so beautiful
Before they go

As time changes
It brings new trends
But the future always
Goes back to them
