Bad Dreams

My thoughts at war,
Locked in combat.
I don't know which way to turn,
Or which way is right.
Sometimes I want to run and hide,
Other times I want to stand and fight.
To many emotions are at play at once,
It's hard to understand it all.
It all seems like a bad dream,
And I'm still waiting to wake up.
