Afraid
Afraid of who I am
afraid of who I will become
afraid of everything that is right in front of me
frightened by the memories that I hold
perturbed by all the lies that have been told
scared from everything that is bold
broken down from the abuse
weakened from all the pain that lingers deep inside
paralyzed from the darkness, it's the only thing i can see
scared to death of my future
intimidated from my past
exhausted from all my pain has taught me valuable lessons
I'm learning to push myself forward and head for the light ahead...;-)
