To Love Is To Hate

Help me come to my sences
Before I die here,
Are you alive?
Can you lean in to me?
Just for tonight,
Thats not the question.
Its not even worth the risk.
Maybe you should let us go, With
one last kiss.
You will hate youself,
When all is said and done,
As the poison falls down from you
lips,
We are surely gone.
I dont think thats the question
I think we were wrong,
Too young to know the difference
Too numb to play along.
We drove the blade in, permanently
severing the only love we've ever
known.
