Naked

Naked

Bare and revealed to the world
Contours and hinges of your curves
Naked to a point of shame
No remorse to the imperfections showed
Naked not seen through glass

Revealed truths to its history of handling
Told stories encrypted on the skin
No colorful paint explains it better
Historic traumas laid out for glow
Baring fruit to the beholder

No clothing for the famished body
Unhidden ways of life
Naked I bared myself for you
Only for you to behold the imperfections
Lying on the ground blending my skin

Here I am no lye to what you see
My name sad out loud with pride
Skin color not a prerequisite
Naked to your world and mine
Open to my ways of life.
