The poem(s) are below...

Dementia in ADD minor

Give me some methylphenidate
So I can concentrate
Electrical impulses and chemicals mixed into one
All of that is called memories for some

Random people without faces
Roaming around in my mind
Leaving their muddy foot print traces
Like souvenirs behind

This dementia is a blessing
So people shouldn’t be stressing
For my train of thought
Can’t be caught

For rational irrationality
Is no longer part of me

hmm I would say irattionality is the only solid remaining part of a demented person? I too have thought fondly on ocassions of the relief of forgetting BUT frgetting how to find HOME or a loved ones face is unbearable. Congrad's on your poetic success. Light & Love

Interesting write on a hush-hush subject Pieter. Dementia is a facet of life that cannot be wished away. Love the phrase 'rational irrationality', Nice!
