A Poem That Will Change the World

Sometimes it’s hard to accept
That people don’t believe in your god
You think it’s odd
Because you have strong beliefs.
It’s hard that people don’t
Look like you
Act like you
Do what you do
So now people are dying because
Being “different” isn’t cool
With others
Taking children from their
Fathers and mothers
Teaching them to fight
Saying it’s
Okay to die
those children
Don’t know why
They were chosen
But then they are strapped
To some device
Not thinking twice
Brainwashed even
Saying they will be a hero
Mama I am a hero
Papa I am a hero
And then they are gone
They became
Devices of war
And there is no peace.
You took a peaceful god
And changed it.
You created
A new Religion
And
Instead of praying to that peaceful god
You once believed in
You are praying to a twisted god
A god of death
A god of destruction
A god of selfish beings
A god which thrives on hatred
And terror
People shot
People crying
Innocent people dying
Losing their lives
Getting attacked
And killed in front of their
Husbands and wives
If you’re Jewish
You are bad
If you are American
You are bad
They want to change the life you had
Cause they come
And just destroy
They think every weapon
Is a toy
They don’t care if you convert
They just care if you get hurt
They don’t know when to stop
Because
Pain and suffering makes them
Stronger
Thinking their attacks
Will stay in news casts longer
Getting people’s attention
Not to mention
The tension
Between countries
We just want peace
Please
Because we are all human
And everyone can
Live in peace
We can all get along
We can share a song
And then maybe you will see
There’s really no difference
Between you and me
I breathe
You breathe
I think
You think
I love you love
I feel you feel
So what’s the deal?
We don’t all have the same brain
We know that that’s driving you insane
But you have to stop bringing this world pain
Because it is not what anyone wanted
The lives of all the people on this earth
Are haunted
If you want us to understand
Do something better than command
Us to convert
We will listen
And negotiate
Till we can finally agree
But no reason conquer every city
Just calm down
And we will too
And hope for peace
Between me and you.
