Twisted Kiss

My hands are shaking,
My knees are weak.
What is this falling?
A tear, on my cheek?
I’m trembling,
Shaking at the thought.
I see them glisten,
The shine of the gloss.
I feel the poison sink into my lips,
I have been infected by the twisted kiss.
It is only faith,
But this can’t be my time,
I am the first to go,
But, then again, how am I to know?

It's like a poisonous kiss of passion....Was it from a Frenchman? hahaha....This is such a quaint poem full of imagination...enjoyed! Gwendolen
