The Last Rose
Standing proud among the thorns
tis time to go
only a memory
that slowly fades
Capture the beauty
while you can
the final act
enjoy the show
One by one
the petals fall
till there are
none at all
A gentle breeze
a kiss goodbye
takes this beauty
from my eyes.
