Wall Street
You brought your company to me with stock values down.
Until you were in demand you were always around.
I worked my magic when things were lean.
You consumed my mind, my energy, my dreams.
Your stock has now recovered.
Your value’s been discovered.
The share price is exclusive.
Your presence is elusive.
You took your company public;
Stock is in high demand.
I'll give you a hand;
On your resilience.
But be careful;
even the best have ceilings.
When you hit it and begin your descent;
You'll pass my way again.
My advice will be then
to sell my friend
because I won’t broker my dreams again.
