America The Brave

Freedom isn’t free
It comes at a great cost
The cost is blood
And all the life lost

We say we are for peace
And claim it’s what we seek
But we cause harm and wars
So to not appear weak

We are an arrogant breed
Full of ego and pride
We feel the need to win
And be in control worldwide

Our desire to be the world police
Has come at a great cost
Freedom isn’t free
I mourn all we have lost

Our desire for pure love
No longer rings true
We need a shift in thought
This hate, we must undo

How do you awaken mankind
From such a deep sleep
It’s time we get back to love
It’s time to wake the sheep
