Rebirth

Panic ensues without warning.
A weight on my chest that is overbearing.
I cannot breathe.
I cannot open my eyes.
I'm screaming from the inside,
Begging for life.
Help, I'm not ready.
Help, I'm not done yet.
Searching for the strength,
Digging for the will.
And finally
A breath
Relief in so many forms.
A reminder that I'm not finished.
