The Way the World Sees Me

While the world turns
the people see me as an outsider
When I think about the way they
treat me, my heart burns
Through the rough times
I needed a shoulder to lean on
Sometimes I wish that the
world could just leave me alone
They could never understand my troubles
only if they had ever known
I try to keep faith in myself
I try to be strong
Maybe it something that I did
maybe I did something wrong
The past was a tough road
I try to leave it behind
I think about it all
and I begin to lose my mind
