Make Peace Not War

To make peace not war
You have to be able to leave
Things as they were before
A camp site fire leaves an open sore
Being able to feel the Earth and her core
Ride it wide open and yank on her cord
You take your hat off as you look at the shore
You feel the things that she needs
And feed them to her as she breathes
You put your hands on
As she bleeds you count her moves
Then be there as she clings
Then when shes done you have made peace
