Renewed Hope

Last night I lay awake
After I was told
You had found someone
Love for me grew old
You went for her
While promised to me
When knowledge came
I cried tears to fill the sea
My heart had shattered
You had torn my soul
I hope someday
I can be whole
But that was last night
My thoughts have taken a turn
I wont let your hurt me this morning
I refused to wallow and burn
My spirit will remain high
Because it seems you werent for me
I hope that it was worth it
That she makes you happy

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
