It's All About Me

I wonder if you really know,
It's all about me.
The way I walk, and the way I talk
It's all about me.
You have no idea of the things I've been through,
The life I've led
I've survived and 
It's all about me.
The discovery of my recovery has left you shaken,
When you thought I would fail
To your surprise I prevailed
It's all about me.
And now look at the woman I've become,
Able to stand on my own two feet.
No more tears, no more pain
I go through the storm, not around it
Because it's all about me.
Head held high, back straight
Able to laugh, and be free
Alive to myself
It's all about me.
No longer settling for second best
Today lead, not follow
It's all about me.
And if you choose to enter my world
It's not that easy, today there are standards
So my brother as you can plainly see
Today my life is easy
Because today
It's all about me
