Is It Like

I guess you could say you lose control.
Is it like,
Losing everything is your goal.

Your in pieces.
You never feel whole.

Your life.
Your letting it go.

But what to do.
You don't really know.

You've got no place to hide.
Bury these feelings you tired.
Got so trashed last night,
That you nearly died.
You didn't even ask yourself why.

You look at life like its a lie.
Your born.
You live.
Then you die.

You've got no reason to fight.
Yet plenty to cry.

Can you carry on without getting high.
You know on the drugs you cant rely
But its a craving your not sure you can deny.

You just hope that your stronger.
Hope that you can last longer.

Pushing away the memories you ponder.
Maybe someday
The memories will seem fonder.
