I Can'T Read

You read me
But I don't read you

You hear unspoken words
A deafening silence consumes me

You speak dead languages
I can't translate

You read me and think you know
But I don't read you

You feel the words I preach
But I don't go to church

You yearn for me to read
Like I will understand

But I can't read

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Difficult to really know someone unless you really love them. But then, we don't care.
