Dark Loneliness

Dark Loneliness

I’m so lost in this time
The past has left me,
And the future isn’t mine.
Must I be alone forever?
Fated for a doom,
That won’t sever?
If you can’t love me eternally
Can you just be here for me?
Hold me like I’m your own,
let me feel your warmth
and let your face be known?
Just kiss me and for a moment.
For just one moment...
Can I be your everything?
Can you give me all your love
And allow my heart to sing?
Can you lend me your body to squeeze?
Just for a minute?
Just for one moment… please?
Then you can end our time…
But with a single kiss
Parting full of bitter bliss.
Knowing that for a moment
you gave me everything,
There won’t be atonement
But I can die a king.
