Letting Go

Sitting on the edge
Watching faces pass me by
Some ive always known
Others have made me cry

Thinking about the past
Old Dreams frozen still
Imagining a future
New Wishes to be filled

Tragic memories abound
Endless possibilities around

Waiting for the moment
That I'll see your smile
Forgetting all around me
If only for awhile

Holding out your hand
Catching me ever tight
Leading me away from here
Heading towards the night

A tiny ray of sunshine
Bringing in the light
Shedding the darkest of the past
With a future full and bright
