Hurt

Never have I been so brutally hurt
Feeling my heart pound right through my shirt
Things in the past Ive buried in dirt
Now it’s resurfaced I can’t even work
What do I do ,feeling so below
Like I am all alone drowning because nobody knows
Who could know this pain
Trying to figure out what you were trying to gain
We had it so perfect and all figured out
Now I am lost just walking about
My body is numb and my head keeps pounding
With so much at stake
How much can I take
Where do I stay
Where must I go
It’s a new day
Still I don’t know
