The Light
I saw him walk down a crooked path
I say he is just a kid, it will pass
He does not know the consequences you see
But I was just as blind as he
To think that every thing is still ok
And then continue with the day
Gods love still lived within my soul
But there was so much I did not know
Then one day, he opened the door
And now I know there is so much more
For the wisdom of God I now can see
And I’m going be all that I can be
I want every one to see what I see
To tell them of the love that really can be
It is just beyond that pearl white gate
I have to enter, I just can’t wait
I need to tell some one you see
But afraid of what they might think of me
But my mind is set to over come
The trials of life I have won
The peace I have I want to share
But nobody else is quite aware
There is a light that shines in my life
That many can't see, because they still try to fight
When the hate in the world tries to pull you down
Let your love flow, yes then you have won
He wants you to have it all you see
Then you can have peace just like me
Just to know that it will be ok
Because of that light, that leads the way
There were some trying times for me
But I had Gods love to set me free
So if you are called, do not run away
Rather look for that light that leads the way
And that is when you will always see
The love of God, just like me
