Exposed

I had a dream that I was running... NAKED
In the street; I had barefeet
Everyone was staring at me
They must think I'm crazy
Why am I not wearing clothes?
Am I just that lazy?
I must run home!
I'm naked and everyone knows
My world is exsosed
They can see my soul
A girl who is not whole
Every lie I've ever told
Every dream turned cold
My heart's deeply burned holes
I am so exposed

I have enjoyed reading your wonderful poetry today Delilah. I love poetry that is written from the heart as I believe that is where the best poetry comes from. I wish you a wonderful weekend filled with Love, Good Health and loads of Inspiration. Love, Carol
