Though you stray from the hard and fast sylable count I feel you have captured the spirit of the Haiku in this piece. I had to look Odilon up wikipieida said "French symbolist painter and etcher. He foreshadowed the surrealists in his paintings of fantastic dream images ", which fits the poem perfectly, very well don - enjoyed.
