Forward

Forward I go, I never stop
My eyes on the road
My eyes on the clock

But the road is not empty
Its not shivering or cold
Its just my heart
Wondering in my past's lonely soul

Forward I go
I dont look back
It gives me strength
To leave this crack

My heart is still broken
Yes, I do still cry
Long gone is my misery
I still wonder why

There was never an answer
Nor a question to ask
Because Forward I go
as I leave
my painful,
Past

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed New Year.
