Just in case you forgot to buy milk,
I bought you some more.
Just in case you forgot your key,
I left one in a secret place like before.
Just in case you forgot to walk the dog and bring in the cat,
Don't worry darling, I've taken care of that.
Just in case you forgot to take the washing out of the machine,
It's done, I know how rushed you've been.
Just in case you forgot to eat lunch,

Just in case I'm not there at the end of the line,
I pray you still have a good time.
Just in case I forgot to turn out the light,

Just in case I leave without saying goodbye,
