Buzzing around the sky, through the day’s cool breeze
Antennas with stings, that brings me to my knees

Fertilizing plants, bringing seeds to the earth
These insects craving, the nectar of my girth

Carrying life through air waves, transferring the pollen
While carefully stinging, making my skin sore and swollen

Without you I know, the plants would all die
As I struggle to reduce, your bite’s swollen eye

So carry on your work, so plants see another day
As I continue to look for that can of BUG SPRAY
