Arrogance

Arrogance

A distant past knocks  on your door;
Who is it. You say unwilling and at dismay

I’m a crook, I’m a fable , whichever you want to see
And I come with a marble to offer you love that can never be
Open the door and let me in

And why should I trust a person who I’ve never seen?
Where have you been? I need no love or emotions in
My face is broken, my eyes are still
Go away it’s my will

And again the love is gone, the door is closed, and the days
Empty as it has always been . Love was passed by again.
