The Soldier's Little Girl

The soldier watched his baby girl
as he whispered in her ear,
he pointed at her heart and said
"I will always be right here."
A single tear ran down her cheek and she mumbled,
"Daddy please don't go."
He put her down and told her
"Never forget I will always love you so,"
He kissed his wife and quietly walked out
as his wife held their daughter
in order for her not to shout.

For families who have member fighting over seas,
remember they are fighting for you freedom so try to sleep at ease.
Remember that they love you and keep hopeful from their strength,
they will also think of you and go the extra length.
