Missing You
This special day each year
I bring you flowers and love
Visiting with you for hours
While watching the clouds above
Drifting on
The days they go by quickly
Our special day is near
Every day since you left
I have visited with you here
In my heart
This year to my dismay
I can not travel to be with you
It tears me up inside
Like nothing more could ever do
I’m missing you
I will stop throughout the day
And share a memory with you
The flowers I will take home
For you can see them there too
