Destiny

From the sparkle in your eye
to the beat of my heart
in your sleep a heavy sigh
I knew right from the start.

The soft curls in your hair
my fingers trace each crest
linger longer if you dare
I shall put you to the test.

Come take both my hands
protect me from the cold
let's walk together on golden sands
let our future now unfold.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
