Nothing to write,
Nothing to say,
Nothing to help when nothing gets in the way,
Nothing is silence,
Nothing is hot tears and ice-cold fears,
Nothing is the deepest of sadness,
Nothing is remorse and guilt for a friend,
Nothing is madness when the mind reaches its end,
Nothing is sickness and a pause to reflect,
Nothing is what keeps one from doing his best,
Nothing is the sensation of drifting alone,
Nothing is a place for a tortured soul,
Nothing is the cause for my blackest thoughts,
Nothing is what killed us all,
Nothing is lying alone in the dark,
Nothing is waiting for all to happen without lifting a finger,
Nothing is as hesitant as a man who’s been stung,
Nothing is the silence that drifts between our happiest days and makes them seem golden,
Nothing is a thought which stops me from searching,
Nothing is a friend turned bad through boredom,
Nothing is a lover tired of my antics,
Nothing is a partner grown weary of my moods,
Nothing is the whisper which tells one he’s worthless,
Nothing is the scream that blinds without purpose,
Nothing is the gap between happy and sad,
Nothing is the ledge onto which all must rest,
Nothing is the feeling of dark uncertainty,
Nothing is a finger which points to my failures,
Nothing is an illness which contaminates my flavour,
Nothing is what’s left when my mind has dissolved,
Nothing struck out and left me for dead,
Nothing pushed me aside and shut the door in my face,
Nothing asked if I wanted coffee and then brought me tea,
Nothing smiled as it watched me weep,
Nothing has told me of death and loneliness,
Nothing has shown me that we are all alone,
Nothing has chosen the spot for us to die together but has tricked me for he shall never die,
Nothing has kept me by lying through his teeth,
Nothing has his hold on me because he is all that has been constant,
Nothing is exact and precise,
Nothing is deceitful but true,
Nothing is in me and nothing is in you,
Nothing holds the answer to everything,
Nothing has to be dealt with – he’s horrible,
Nothing is what drives men to drink,
Nothing advised I hide under a cloud of green smoke,
Nothing told me it was all my fault and then left,
Nothing spat in my face and told me it was for my own good,
Nothing is the glue that binds us,
Nothing is what they taught us to ignore,
Nothing is what we secretly adore,
Nothing is solitude and space,
Nothing is what I crave when awash with busy thought,
Nothing is killing me,
Nothing is killing me.
