Into Troubled Seas Onto Waving Shores

Stage one: Sparkle in the Dark

A tiny kiss,
A tiny box

A little boy
A little rag, a little cold

An empty heart
An empty echo

A pretty girl
A pretty nothing, a pretty shiver

The wonder
The marvel

And the waves call
And the mist flies

Come, come
Little fiddle, pretty follower

And they hold hands
And they jump in

Stage two: The Walk

The waves roar
The mist sings

A growing kiss
A growing warmth, a growing pain

The little boy walks on
The water washes over

A shrinking heart
A shrinking doubt, a shrinking cold

The little girl leans on
The little leader walks on

Stage three: Lasting Heal

The pain is gone
The waves bristle

The little boy
With the tiny box

The little girl
With an empty heart

He walks to shore
And holds the box
Small and sweet

She follows
And looks up
Curious and trusting

He takes the box
With the growing kiss
And places it in her heart

She looks up
Smiles.

He looks up
Smiles.

The new path begins
Hand in hand
One in one

A little box
A little kiss

An empty heart
An empty echo

Now, a filled box
In an trusting heart
Now, a sweet kiss
In a singing wave
