What's Her Name

Remembering the day when I first
saw you
You were sitting on a couch and
had no one to talk to
When I passed by you, I couldn't help but
turn my head around
Time seemed suddenly stopped without
a single sound
"What's her name?" that was the question
I had in mind
Thinking, I could have might ask for it
Hoping you won't mind
But decided not to, as the barrier appeared
to be so thick
As if it was covered with tons of solid bricks
and nothing would surely work no matter what
kinds of tricks
Days went by…
Thanks to social media, we became somehow
Though accepting the friend request I sent was
so unexpected
From then on, everything has started
I began with one "Hi" followed by one question
and you answered
then I asked another one, and you were no longer
But I did not lose hope,
Maybe the WiFi went down so messages would
come late
or something went wrong on my messenger and
needed some update
Everything was not so easy to simply get your
Yes, we're connected, but we're having a
bad connection
Almost about to give up then, and admit I was
just part of the elimination
Until one day I finally got a chance
I felt so much happiness that made me wanna dance
We have exchanged messages not just once
Perhaps, countless times
I have known you for more than a year now
I could still remember the day I kept on asking myself
Though I'm not yours and you're not mine
Still, Prayers have been answered
as I was able to take you out and ate lately
Plus, I finally got my dream selfie.

And to answer the title, her name is Chelsy.
