Tormented Mind
The tormented mind cries in silence,
the pain is almost too much to bare;
always having to put on a false face,
pretending that you care.
There is no magic cure all pill,
believe me I've tried them all;
You just have to keep on going,
hoping you don't finally fall.
At times the pain is overwhelming,
giving up would be the easy way out;
I know in my heart that's not an option,
although my mind is filled with doubt.
